REPLACEMENT FREQUENCY:

Yearly (every 12 months).

This is important to protect your equipment. A burst tube will leak highly corrosive acid destroying the peristatic pump and also has the potential to leak in to and damage your expensive chlorinator.

Also replace if damaged, or as required when tube becomes stiff or frosty.

When replacing these tubes be sure to take the time to replace the inner white tube included, because when that breaks acid leaks out and destroys the acid feeder pump. 

DESCRIPTION:

This kit is designed to replace the entire acid feeder line from the acid bottle right throught to the pipework.

*Please note: This kit comes complete from the manufacturer as a single product. The soft white inner squeeze tube cannot be separated out, or ordered as a separate part.

HOW TO USE:

To extend the logevity of your acid feeder tubing (and protect your equipment), it's improtant to water down your acid before feeding it through the tubing. Full strength acid has been known to eat through these tubes in as little as 3-6 months. The simplest way to do this is to:

IMPORTANT NOTE: ALWAYS POOR WATER IN FIRST!

1. Use a large black 15Ltr acid bottle as your source.

2. Fill half to two thirds with water.

3. Buy a 5Ltr bottle of acid.

4. Carefully poor the 5Ltr acid in to the 15Ltr bottle with water already in it.

WARNING:

If your current tube has burst inside the green/grey Peristaltic pump, you will need to replace the whole pump before it corrodes and seizes up.
